Christmas Carol Concert Success

Friday 8th December saw our annual Christmas Carol Concert take place at St. Mary’s Church in Hay. We had our best ever turn out with many members, volunteers and supporters attending to enjoy the service. The Wye Border Singers led by Val Whiston sang beautifully with plenty of opportunities for the congregation to join in with the carols and songs performed. The service was followed by tea and mince pies and the chance for attendees to have a good chat with one another. Overall the event raised over £900, including sales for our Christmas raffle. We would like to thank the McCarthy Stone Foundation for their grant which funded the refreshments and transport to the service for some of our members. The event was another great success and a lovely way to bring people together at Christmas.
