Mary Fellowes
CHAIR
Mary’s lived in Hay for about forty years and absolutely loves the town, so has tried to put something back into it. During that time she has been a town councillor, mayor, school governor and even chair of governors. However, being part of Dial-a-Ride from the very beginning is her most rewarding role, and one which she takes great pride in, having watched it grow into an efficient charity that works for the town and surrounding area with its members at the forefront.
-
Richard Gardiner
OFFICE LINE MANAGER/DRIVER
Richard moved to Hay in retirement in 2012 and started driving for Dial-a-Ride in 2013. He became a trustee in 2018, bringing his acquired driving experience and knowledge to the trustee group. His membership of the trustees helps to ensure that the services that Dial-a-Ride offers will continue to benefit the community.
-
Gus Powell
GDPR
Gus joined the board of trustees in 2021 following a 37-year career in the military. Having lived all over the world, he moved to the area in 2014 following a 3-year assignment in Texas.
-
Liz Hughes
SAFEGUARDING & HARDSHIP
Liz came to live in Llowes in 2018. She is the trustee responsible for safeguarding and administration of the hardship fund, which fits in with her background in social work and mental health.
-
Nick Boughey
After moving to Hay in 2018, Nick volunteered with Dial-a-Ride as a driver but stepped down during the pandemic. However, he wanted to help in other ways. Having run a small business and with 30 years of experience in a variety of management positions, Nick wishes to bring some of those skills into his role as a trustee.
